In October 2021, the 🚩 Red Flag emoji start trending on Twitter. Users began to express their attitude to different life situations and phrases with its help. Initially, tweets with the 🚩 Red Flag emoji were used to denote unwanted phrases in romantic relationships. This has shown that it is better to stay away from certain types of partners.

In the fall of 2021, the Unicode consortium released a list of new emoji version 14.0. It includes 838 characters, 37 of which are new.
